Jason Shoaf was born and raised in Port St. Joe. Now he’s raising a family in the community that shaped him.
From a young age, Jason’s parents instilled in him the values of hard work, faith and personal freedom. His first job was piping houses and digging ditches, and he continued to work through high school and college before returning home to start his own business.
Jason was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in a 2019 Special Election and was reelected in 2020. Since taking office, Jason has helped pass legislation that protects the rights of our unborn, keeps taxes low for businesses and residents, and ensures Florida’s elections are safe and secure. Recently, Jason cosponsored a bill that prevents the government from mandating vaccinations during a public health emergency. This legislation was signed into law by Governor DeSantis.
